Geschirr spülen, Mails checken, Hamster füttern - wenn die lästige Pflicht ruft, gibt es 1000 Möglichkeiten der Ablenkung. Gerade auf dem Campus grassiert die Aufschieberitis, im Fachbegriff Prokrastination. Sechs Zauderer erzählen, wie sie sich vor der Arbeit drücken.

Ich fühle mich überhaupt nicht angesprochen.

The german lower case letter »ß« now has a upper case pendant, formally noted as ISO-10646 and 1E9E in Unicode 5.1. I think this makes no sense because everybody will keep writing »SS« instead of using the new letter. This is again a proof for how narrow-minded Germans can be.

I just tried to type it on my keyboard. FAIL.

Swedish designer Erika Janunger made this short film for her art school exam. She is combining architecture, furniture, music and dance into a video called “Weightless”.

At first, I was a little turned down by the body masses shwon, but after a while I felt ok about them.

My sister took that test as well. Just heard it went quite okay, but I fear she chose that poem stuff. I always hated analyzing lyrics but she’s kind of into it or rather doesn’t want to change that “A+”-system ;)

Der nächste, der auf unserem Klo im Stehen pinkelt, bekommt eine von mir geknallt. In seinem eigenen Interesse sollte er es vertuschen, indem er wenigstens den Deckel wieder runterklappt.

MIT offers the course materials (lecture notes, audio lectures, problem sets, exams, assignments, study materials, etc. - you basically download the course) for roughly 1,800 classes FREE online! This is an awesome way to teach yourself a subject you never got to take or already love and want to learn more about. They offer EVERYTHING from Anthropology to Physics to Music Theory to Engineering. The list goes on. This is so cool. I’m totally going to hit up all the Literature and Psychology classes.
